Organizers

In 2004, June 28 Commission, in charge until the date of the Organization of Madrid Pride, becomes the Pride organizing committee in which three parties work together: AEGAL FELGTB and COGAM. The collaboration structure is detailed in Attachment No (agreement between COGAM, FELGTG and AEGAL)

It can be noted that in the past three years, neighbors and residents of the Chueca neighborhood and surroundings are also part of the Pride preparatory meetings.

Association of Companies and Professionals for Gays, Lesbians, Transgreders and Bisexuals in Madrid and the Madrid Region

COGAM

Lesbian, Gay and Transsexual Collective of Madrid. Is an NGO, a non-profit, democratic, participatory, pluralistic and independent organization of Public Interest.

Ayuntamiento de Madrid

The Madrid City Council is fully involved in the Pride organization. It includes 21 district municipal boards of which two (city center and Moncloa) are directly involved in the event and 7 are government departments: vice mayor, finance and public administration, economics, employment and citizenship participation, environment, safety and mobility, town planning and housing, family and social services, and arts. We work together with all these government departments and meet regularly with their responsible persons throughout the year. Also a minimum of two meetings with the Mayor of Madrid and several coordination meetings with all these departments and related services are held every year. The Madrid City Council decides each year which is the government department logo that should appear in all MADO communication.
